McDonald’s Crew E-Learning Modules

Crew E‑Learning Training | Gamification Modules USA | AU | NZ | CANADA

Client:

McDonald’s | 2016 – 2020

Skils & tools:

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Hand Illustration, perspective drawing, E-learning Design, Gamification, Layout Design

Project:

These learning modules were designed to visually guide new crew members through how a McDonald’s restaurant operates, what is expected in each role, and how teams work together on the floor—before their first shift even begins.

Using illustrated restaurant environments, characters, and real-world scenarios, the modules walk learners through daily operations, behaviors, and responsibilities across different team roles. The experience combines clear instruction, interactive layouts, and scenario-based learning, helping set expectations early and build confidence from day one.

The modules were fully responsive, with interfaces tailored for both desktop and mobile use, and structured around completion milestones—ensuring training was completed before crew members moved into live restaurant environments.

Built in close alignment with McDonald’s global brand standards and instructional storyboards, the final result was a practical, engaging onboarding experience that made complex workflows easier to understand, reinforced consistency across regions, and supported smoother transitions from training to real-world execution.
